Oi, Bazza! Not happy with your mining policies here in the Northern Rivers
Sadly, the most significant point of this poll was that it was totally unscientific and therefore not worth the paper it was written on.
Both Metgasco and Shut the Gate played dirty tricks, advising shareholders/members how to multi-vote - it is impossible to know how many from either side did.
I guess from the numbers we can conclude Shut the Gate won the "fudge the figures" battle, all that remains is to see who wins the war.
The poll was on APN websites. Unless everyone ran from house to house to use different PCs and Internet accounts, APN polls just can't reliably be used by individuals to multiple vote, even if voters clear temp, cache and cookies.
