Time for motorists on the NSW North Coast to keep a watchful eye out for echidna 'love' trains on local roads

Drive carefully between now and September as echidnas start to congregate and mate in preparation for their annual July-August breeding period when adult females will either be carry an egg or a very small baby in their pouches. *Photographs found at Google Images
