Bushfire Danger Period has begun on NSW North Coast
It is still winter yet the 2019 bushfire danger period has begun on the NSW North Coast.
Bush fire season has now started in more than 20 areas across NSW. An extra nine areas on the north coast start their bush fire danger period today. Permits are required. Don't be the fire risk to your community. #NSWRFSpic.twitter.com/vqV1OKZ7ua
Time to make or update a Bushfire Survival Plan for your home. See: https://www.rfs.nsw.gov.au/plan-and-prepare/bush-fire-survival-plan By midday on 18 August 2019 the NSW Rural Fire Service reported that there were 58 bush or grass fires across the state, with 31 still to be contained.
