A very practical gate to plate

In 2010 the Lower Clarence Community Garden Group received $50,000 from the Northern Rivers Food Links project and Village Showcase to establish a community garden in Yamba; facilitate a whole of community approach to participation in the garden; provide assistance and potentially financial support to aspirant community garden groups in the Lower Clarence area; support training groups by making the garden available as a training resource; and the delivery of workshops for the community.

The garden this group started in Wattle Park is coming along splendidly.
