Political Independence: what a difference six months makes
Richie Williamson for Clarence on Facebook 12 March 2011:

The Northern Rivers Echo 17 March 2011:
It is for this reason I am proud to be running as an independent. I will always put Clarence first.
The Sydney Morning Herald 17 September 2011:
Mr Williamson, who stood as an independent, said he would be ''willing to have that discussion'' if approached to stand for the Nationals.

It's pathetic aint it? As they say in the clasics, "Money speaks all languages." Cansdell did well, gaining himself a lifelong pension of 80+ thousand while banging on about law and order, honesty and good behaviour. I suppose Williamson will also be thankful he has himself a lifelong job and the prospect of an eighty thousand a year pension after only eight years of also banging on about decency and proprioety. How can thes ratbags sleep at night when they point their fingers at others yet do what they do themselves?
