It may be bigger than Ben Hur, but when do we get to read the script?

In an effort to sell its gargantuan Work Choices industrial relations package John Howard & Co. spent the better part of $1.6 million on a staged advertising blitz.

This need to misinform inform was excessive to say the least, but for Labor to seemingly swing to the other end of the spectrum is not the answer either.

With less than two weeks to go before the large Fair Work Bill is introduced to federal parliament, the average worker (COIL not withstanding) has little idea of where Employment and Workplace Relations Minister Julia Gillard is taking the country.

Her Address to the Labor Law Association is the nearest we come.

Ensuring your party is a small traget is one thing - treating the electorate like mushrooms is another all together.
